Hi all,

 

I’m a newbie on this website. I’m currently an Undergraduate Chemical Engineering Student in Malaysia. I’m currently working on my final year design project with the topic of “Design a chemical plant for Ethyl-tert-butyl-ether (ETBE) production with capacity of 75000 tons/yr”. Hereby, I have a few favours to ask if anyone happens to have access to:

 

1) The current market price of ETBE

2) The market outlook and future forecast of ETBE

 

Hope someone out there can help me as my team are struggling in getting all these info currently. Much appreciated.

Since this is not for real, and pricing has no bearing on your grasp of chemical engineering, it would be sufficient that ETBE is valued at premium gasoline X 1.2. Gasoline prices are readily available. Or, you can take the differential between regular and premium to assign an octane premium value, and use this to estimate ETBE price.
