Dear forum members,
Does anyone know the appropriate symbol for jets on a PID? I'm designing a water feature and I do not know the correct symbols to represent a jet of water.
Thank you for your time

It is not clear to me what exactly you mean by "a jet of water", but you are free to create any symbol you like, as long as it is different from the other symbols used, and put that on the first P&ID together with all the other symbols applicable for your project.

Dear AngelaD,
I have taken the symbol of ASME Y32.11-61.
I hope help you.

Napo.

Angela,
I think a picture, drawing, or sketch of the real operation might inspire some good ideas and discussion.

This seems like an old thread. Nevertheless, I have dug up some nice pictures from the ISO P&ID. OP could probably find an equivalent in DIN, PIP, ISA etc templates.
