Can anyone please tell me how the yeild temperature or melting point of fusible plugs is specified.Application is for one of of our offshore oil & gas platform.I have seen the data sheets for some of our other platforms and there the melting temperatures are the same as the design pressures of the pipeline and equipment.Are there any standards/codes for fusible plugs?
