Dear Vijay,

Thermic fluids are also called Heat Transfer Oils used for transfering heat energy from haet source to the required vessel where the heat energy is used.

Some heat transfer oils are mineral oils derived from petroleum (in Oil Refineries). There are different grades of Heat Transfer Oils based on the temperature at which they are to be used. Chemically they are hydrocarbon mixtures. Typical grades are,

Property Light Medium Heavy
Kinematic Viscosity @ 40 deg C, cSt max 15.0 35 35
Flash Point, deg C, COC min 150 208 214
Pour Point, deg C, max -3 -3 -3
Distillation, Initial Boiling Point, deg C, min 250 300 355

Hope this much will do.
