Reciprocating Compressor Piston Rod Lubrication

There is nothing difficult about lubricating a reciprocating piston rod or piston rings. This is (or should be) explained in your compressor's operating and maintenance manual. You should read it diligently and carefully. In case you were never given or received the specific manual - or you lost your copy - you can read and study the material I am attaching below.
The lubrication system explained in the documents is fairly routine and is used to lubricate compressors delivering up to 10,000 psig of discharge pressure. 2.5 kg/cm2 (36 psig) is a drop in a bucket and nothing to be concerned about.
