Hello everybody!
I am PHD student , my research project is " Oil recovery from oily sludge generated by oil refinery". Would you please help me in my object by according me informations about pyrolysis of oil sludge because i met some difficulties in my work, and also if you have any idea about the processes used in different refineries to treat this waste. Thank you in advance for your help

Oil is recovered from oily sludge by dissolving the oil in a middle distillate like gas oil. The recovered oil is mainly sent to Visbreaker or coking unit. An another way of disposal is blending in fuel oil or LDO if the blend meets all requirements for FO or LDO as the case may be..
