Hello

I want to dry gas mixture by multiple flash drums with most methane recovery, but I want to know which simulator is the best?(Aspen Hysys, Aspen Plus or Pro II) and also which EOS or activity model is more accurate with my composition?

Thanks

composition:(temp: 25 and pressure 70 barg)

Hello,

You can go for HYSYS with Sour Peng-Robinson fluid package.

you should be able to solve that problem with all those simulators and others...

basically you need to solve a series of VLE calc's,

not a difficult task with a suitable thermo package,

I have solved similar problems with the extended Peng Robinson model included in Prode Properties,

complex mixing rules can add accuracy but you may be required to fit the model...

Like the above comment, I would use HYSYS for sure. Good luck!
