I wish to know the Procedure for mitigating the emergency due to leakage in crosscountry pipelines.

Please let me know is there any industrial standard or procedure available based on experience?

About your Question, I think you must be more specific about your problem.

The mitigation plan depends of many factors like:

Type of soil, hydrocarbon, weather conditions of site, tophografic conditionns, nearest rivers and so.

I suggest you can look information at EPA or look by Google about that. There are a lot of information , sites and documents like pdf files that you can download.

Thanks Profe. This is for a crosscountry pipeline (c2/c3) at Abudhabi. Since this area is more of a desert, in case of pipeline leakage, how to mitigate the emergency?

I tried to send you the technical informatón, but the server send me a massage that it does not find your Domain Nomber Server (DNS).

By the way I copy the URL Direction for download PDF files about your question.
