Hi,

What is the difference between an Assists Gas and Supplemental Gas in a Flare System.

or both are one and the same.

Thanks in advance.

Chemitofreak,

Supplemental fuel (gas), refers to the gas that mixes with waste gas prior to its arrival at the flare tip, ensuring the combustibility of the total gas stream.

Air assisted flare, a combustion device where forced air is injected to promote turbulence for mixing and to provide combustion air.
