What is the design Temperature of 340F?

It means the pressure vessel is subject to maximum temperature of 340F which cannot be less than the relevant maximum operating temperature at all...

Certainly you mean operating temperature (not operating pressure); then if so you can convert the operating temperature to design temperature by adding a reasonable margin, say 30F, to maximum operating temperature...

It's based on the relevant project design criteria and might be more or less than what i mentioned as typical...
