In our heat pump compressor system (in C4 separation column), overhead compressed vapors after giving up enthalpy in bottom reboiler are further cooled in a trim cooler. Uncondensed vapors are again heated to compressor inlet temperature through steam heater and recycled back.

My questions are:

1) While calculating the CoP should I take into account energy consumed in cooler & recycle vapor heater along with compressor power input. OR only compressor power is considered in CoP ?

2) What are typical CoP values we observe in simillar industrial applications?

Thanks for check on this & look forward for your reply.
