Data to draw the binodal stability curve is given. The feed(xF ,F) and solvent(xS ,S)flow rate and composition are also given. How can I calculate raffinate(xR) and extract(xE) phase composition?

hi ,
Consider this resource
other videos are available on youtube.
note : You should start with mass balances ( global and species )
Good luck

In my problem, I have four variables and three equations, that's where my problem lies.
Variables: R, E, xR , xE
Equations: 1. xF = xR*R + xE*E (Solute Balance)
2. S = (1-xE)*E (Solvent Balance)
3. (1-xF)*F = (1-xR)*R (Carrier Balance)
And actually, raffinate and extract both with have all three of them because both the point has to lie on the given binodal curve. Basically, I have to draw a tie line but I cannot get the required points of Raffinate and Extract.

Hi ,
I previously stated that you should consider youtube to support your work . Key words liquid liquid extraction .
additional ressource is attached .
Good luck
