Dear Members,

We have to use MDI in our process for which we have to melt the drums of MDI. Please suggest most suitable method of doing it, currently we are melting these drums in hot water tub.

Looking for your valuable suggestions.

Regards,

Asif Aziz

Hi Aziz ,

You may contact them using the link attached .

note :  When I was in charge of Latex production , I was using a kind of cabinet heated with steam for viscous material  .

you may find "electrical blanket" for similar application .

Good luck

@Breizh

Sir I think electrical blanket may not be a good option as it will cause localised heating which can lead to formation of dimmers.
