Dear Experts,

We are in receipt of an inquiry from our client for engineering of effluent treatment unit, to treat effluent that is coming from Merox unit. Apart from pH adjustment, it is also required to treat effluent to remove organic contaminants like sulphides.

On research for subject matter, we came across an article Catalytic oxidation of spent caustic from digital refining.

We are looking for technology supplier who can supply aforesaid technology & proprietary catalyst.

We are also awaiting detail analysis of incoming effluent quality, however treated effluent is expected to meet Omani regulation.

Kindly advise with known resources.

Thanks in advance.

Cea,

In past I have used Zimpro (http://www.energy.si...leanest-Way.pdf) with decent result for treating spent caustic for Naphtha Cracker.

There are other suppliers of similar technology as well.

Suggest to check if Paques in Netherlands has any technology for this application; they are quite active in WW in oil&gas.

@Cea, good luck.

If needed, I could help to get direct contact; I worked with people there for some projects; but really up to your preference; I am not salesman.
