I am simulating a lng/ngl plant by using aspen hyssy. I want to know how can i optimize the single mixed refrigerant cycle with Hysys?

And how can i choose the best mole fraction for refrigerant?

Thank you for your guiding

It sounds like you skipped all the basics of simulation models. And you are not likely to get someone to supply a simulation for you. What you ask for is a lot. So, focus on what you need.

thank you Bobby

can i insert mole fraction as a variable in Hysys?

You should search the web for help. It seems that you are undertaking a task for which you are not prepared. Are you a student?

The gas being liquefied has a specific cooling curve, for best efficiency your MR cooling curve will need to closely match it (this will produce the smallest gap between the cooling curves)

However a single MR system has to combine the full cooling and liquefaction requirements into a single composition mix, (noting that this composition needs to be maintained and reproduced in an operational sense).

Optimization of MR composition is only done when you factor in limits and constraints.

The main one for LNG facilities is power i.e. gas turbine driving compressors.

As your MR composition changes this directly impacts the power requirements of the compression.
