It is proposed to connect this global by pass  ligne to the Flare header. Configuration involves PDV  to Flare header. This is usefull during total Emergency Depressurization facilities for the fire senario, this by pass ligne .contain block valve and check valve

 

 the flare ligne connection  from the global  by pass ligne with the  PV, block valve and check valve is prohibited or not 

 

If you got any special advice/requirement by other, let me know.

Hi,

In your sketch, no PSV is indicated. Is it true?

It means that the pressure at the bypass line is too high to be released into the flare header.

 

What is the pressure at by pass line?

all Equipments 1, 2, 3 and 4 are equiped with PSV

 

This by pass line is used during the first years of operation when the pressure at equipment 1 and 2 is equal to or greater than 57 bara, (feed gas from well) but this pressure decreases with time at 24 bara we start the MP compression MP (decharge = 57 bara) and subsequently if this pressure reaches at 10 bar we start also the LP compression ( decharge line =24bara)

 

So the pressure before the valve will vary between 57 and 10bara

And after the check valve it always equal   57 bara

 

My question  is prohibited or not to connect the global vent line to flare from this bypass which contains block valve and check valve

In general, you are not allowed to connect a get a branch line from the by-pass to the flare unless the valve is locked open.

thanks for your replay ;

 

this by-pass it will be used only  during LP and MP compressor shudown. for  the first startup years but after it will closed.

 

can you propose others configuration to connect to the flare.
