Dear Sir,

 

In AET type heat exchangers, we have 8 shell & Tube heat exchangers needing to be re-tubed. So I am requesting your support to provide the tube expansion percentage and desired ID of the tube once the expansion percentage is reached for these exchangers.

 

Tube OD: 19.05 mm

Nominal wall thickness : 2.11 mm

Material : SA-179

Design Pressure tube side: 10 barg

Design pressure shell side: 8.6 barg

I think you should refer to the latest edition of TEMA to find the response to your query...

you've 8 S&THEs, TEMA type AET, to be retubed....

what is the shell diameter(s)?

what is the expansion percentage you're writing of?
