Dear All

 

I'm doing my reading on proces control, and I'm not sure whether I understood this, so correct me if i'm wrong... The degrees of freedom on a process unit (i.e. a fractionator or a reactor) tell us the number of variables that we need to control so that the column operates satidfactorily...

So, if I have 2 deg. of freedom I would only need to control two variables...and nothing else? am i correct?
