Hello everyone, I have a problem at hand and I'm kind of stuck.
I'm studying an organic chemical extraction process, where I know the biomass from which the organic chemical has to be extracted, let's say for simplicity's sake 10 g, the solvent (methanol & water 50:50), which amounts to 50 ml, and the mass fraction of the organic chemical A at the end of the extraction, e.g. 70 mg/g (mg of A, g of biomass).
How can I evaluate the extraction yield?
