Dear all,

Please suggest ,in flarenet whether we need to feed actual pipe length( actual pipe piece length) or length including fittings in length column.

Thanks,Stu

Hi Stu

FlareNet allows you to do both. if you specify actual pipe length, you have to include fiitings from the program database. however, you can also input the equivalent length without fitting input also. both hydraulic results should be similar except, you activate the heat loss calculation on flare header.

Regards,

Alerto

Stu,

You can put any pipe fitting in Flarenet. But either you are not satisfy with backpressure result or you have another preference to determine equivalent length, that's no problem not to use it, just add that equivalent length into pipe length.
