Are there any available articles or recent research work done on the correlation of gas process plant equipment design /manufacture cost and material cost?

For example, knowing the weight of the equipment (after equipment sizing evaluation) the material cost can be estimated. What would generally be the factor for Design and Manufacturing cost estimation as well as Equipment installation? I know this would be specific to specialised design, type of equipment (compressor vs separator), contractor design, time periods etc.

However, any recent research work or published information on the related topic would be helpful.

You probably won't find anything good for free.

JSwat,

You can Review:
