I'm working in crude oil recieving terminal ,we are reciving oil with water from Plat form  ( 2phase ) via 20" MOL ( mail oil line ) for adistance of 80 KM , now adays suddenly we got High ( OIW) value before it was aprox 30 PPM , now adays it is reading aprox 50-60 PPM , what is the factors affecting that ?

any one can help ??

 

Crude oil tank

operating prameters are :-

Pressure  30 mbar

capacity is 150 Mbbl

oil -in- water acceptable range is 40 mg/l ( 40 ppm)
