In our vacuum rerun unit, the feed is atmosphere residue, feed heater pass flow going to radiation first then convection section. I wonder I always have seen pass flow going to radiation followed by convection to get more heat.

 

can anyone reveal the reason why is it…  one more thing motive steam given at convection inlet why not in radiation section
