Hi guys, any idea what equations can be used for jet mixing in rectangular tank?  The jet mixer is to keep the solid in suspension throughout the liquid.  Found many correlation for cylindrical tanks but not for rectangular tanks.

Hi,

Why don't you ask vendor with a spec sheet?  Flygt  could be an option , plenty using your favorite engine .

other option :  get a copy of : Mixing in the process industries by N. Harnby, M.F.Edwards ,A.W Nienow .

Chapter 9

Good Luck,

Breizh

I'm not sure which country you are in, but maybe this could be an option?

If you have CFD software, that would be even better.

There is the free CFD software, Openfoam, if you wanna try your hands on.
