Dear Sir,

I wish to model Hydrocyclone in HySys for oil and gas facility. How should i approach this?

Best Regards,

HYSYS is a thermodynamic simulator.  You can model this as a separator.  The simulator has no knowledge of the fluid mechanics of the internals of the hydrocyclone (for oil/water separation).  If you need details, contact a hydrocyclone manufacturer.

Dear Sir,

I am using two phase separator for this.

I can use carryover option in hysys for modelling separation of oil and water , but how to control vesel pressure as there is  no vapour line shown on P & ID. Also there is no vessel pressure controller.

Request your help.

A hydrocyclone controls the backpressure of the liquid outlets.  In HYSYS you set the pressure of the inlet to the vessel and connect a vapour outlet that will have zero flow.
