Hi,

I need to create an ATEX 2 zone within a laboratory space 15m2 within a 24 m2 space. I am thinking of building an aluminium frame with either aluminium sheets or polycarbonate sheets with multiple ATEX rated extractions from the top. I was wondering if using aluminium for ATEX zoning a good idea as the material is flamable. Operating temperature of the vessels will be as high at 300 C inside the zone, with HTU oil used as the heating medium piped in from the outside.

Many Thanks
