There is a vessel (5 m^3) in which liquid (say water) is at 215 barg and 350 C. For a blow down of a particular volume of liquid (say 150 L) through a valve (size 1 inch), I have to find out blow down time. The pressure downstream of the valve is 1 bar and thus flashing would occur. How should i proceed with calculation? Vessel is isolated in upstream side.
