Hello my friends
Is there anyone who is familiar with Proplan software for Refinery scheme selection ??
I’m using version 3.5 Proplan for our Refinery project scheme selection study but I cannot find proper block for RCD unit
Another option is to define governing equations for RCD unit products’ yields as well specification but I Couldn’t find proper correlations for this matter
Is there any idea????

you should clarify the meaning of RCD...

UOP RCD unionfining or residue upgrading
It’s a severe hydro treatment process for upgrading of residue feeding to RFCC unit
Products specification
Sulfur max: 0.3 ٪
Metal cont. : max 20 ppm

uop has published some info relevant to this process on the book "handbook of petroleum refining processing" by meyers.

anyone working in the refinery configuration/optimization sector should know this book.
