Would the heat required be the heat that is being lost? I would think that would be the most likely preliminary size of the heater required.

what are the parameters needed for the sizing? what is/are the sizing procedures of electric gas heaters

I would think the parameter you should aim to acquire first would be the heat losses in kW.
