Does anyone ever tried to simulate absorption heat pump using Lithium Bromide in HYSYS? LiBr is not in HYSYS library therefore I Ihave to add it as a hypothetical component but I am not sure if adding the main properties will do the job.

If you have Aspen Plus license you search on exchange with the subject. There will be one model for LiBr heat pump

If you only want a steady state ...try DWSIM. It has an example of single stage Absorption chilled LiBr based
