Dear Forum Members

 

We are following carbonatation process for refining the sugar. The carbonated sugar liquor having solids of brix 65 C temperature 80 C the passing through the pressure filters. The filters surface area is 220 M2, tme cycle 2 hrs, no pre-coating. operating pressure 2-3 bar

a. I want to calculate the rate of filtration

b. Cake resistance on the leafs

d. Cake thickness on the leaf

 

Pls guide me.
