Respected Sir / Mam,

I have a doubt regarding line sizing of two phase flow i.e. Gas-Liquid flow.

I am trying to match given excel sheet results from Manual calculations done by me.

I have used Lockhart Martinelli correaltion to calculate pressure drop.

Please confirm me the :

1 . Two phase pressure drop

2 . Use of Coefficient "C" and its physical significance

(I have used D'arcy equation to calculate liquid and gas pressure drop and Churchill relation for Darcy friction factor calculation)

Parameters are as follows:

Gas:

Mass flowrate : 101274 kg/hr

Molecular weight : 9.53

z : 1.029

Viscosity : 0.021 cP

Density : 12.56 kg/m3

Cp/ Cv :1.216

Liquid:

Mass flowrate : 477939 kg/hr

Density : 689.6 kg/m3

Viscosity : 0.3 cP

Diameter assumed and checked criteria :

24 inch

STD

Kindly inform me for some missing data

Help me with Delta P in bar/km.

Thanks
