Hi wty,
So far the chemical waste is concerned, (1) the objective of the analysis is determined first, then (2) the method of the treatment or handling shall be clearly fixed.
If some of valuable component is to be recovered from the water, then the material(s) should be identified, recommended method for the recovery and proper processing unit, purity of the covered material, analytical method(s) to determine the quality shall be defined with the authorized that discharges the waste stream.
If a conventional waste treatment method cal be applied for the waste, then BOD, COD, pH, SS, heavy metals, etc. would be the major items be be analyzed applying common well known methods .
If there are some particular reasons other than the above two, or any specific objective is involved, the details shall be discussed in your office, but not here.

Hi ,
You should have a mass balance available in your facility , from raw material to finished goods . It's a good habit to perform regular test on waste water and gas emission to get a full mass balance and improve yields whenever possible.
Normally you should have a permit to dispose your waste water , this should include a certain number of analysis to be performed before release ( Ph, BOD, COD , heavy metals, organics, ……) .
Note : You may have to contract a third party to perform analysis if technics are not available in your lab .
Good luck

Hi,
Usually Hazardous wastes generated from Downstream processes are treated thermally.
Basic analysis must contain percentage of C,O,H,S , N etc. for flue gas treatment and Incinerator Heat Load.
Inorganics wastes need a separate waste profile sheet with generation process etc. to find out wheteher they can be treated by physico-chemical process before being stabilized and landfilled.
Cement Co-processing entirely depends upon applicable regulations, EU directive promotes it while US EPA delists some wastes.
PM me if you require further information.
