Hello every one, is there any standards or common practice which help in determining the need for fire and gas system for any equipment?. the problem is if we will install a small separator in receiving area which in in the fence of a facility but a far from any source of fire? is there a need for this equipment to be covered with gas and fire detector ? what are the factors that determine the need of this system , the size of the vessel , the inventory or the location of it?
