This question is for amine expert in the group.

 

I was wondering what frequency you recommend for removing charcoal from amine charcoal filter.

Originally it was every 6 months, the plant where I worked. However we changed and we see the quality of amine also. Foaming tendency in amine absorber and RSH in lean amine can tell you when it is required to change the charcoal.

You should consult your licensor or revert to the operation manual where this should be described .

Consider also the document attached ( page 42 …)
