Hello,

I need to find informations or references about Nitrogen/Fuel Gas stripping of crude oil for H2S removal, I’ve searched through Google but couldn’t find anything specific: the flowrate to be treated is very small, about 1900 bbld.

I’d also like to know if someone, according to personal experience, could provide any guidelines for a successful simulation, as well as possible qualified Vendors to ask to. Thanks.

You don't need a vendor.  You need a qualified engineering contractor. 

 

Stripping crude oil with nitrogen of fuel gas may be effective, but the temperature you do this at will be critical, because you need low viscosity and thus hot, but hot is detrimental to the solubility of nitrogen (you will absorb a lot of nitrogen).

One option is to strip at vacuum, but you might also lose light ends from the crude oil in such a scenario.
