Dear All,
A standard design criteria, any metallic equipment which is exposed to solar radiation shall have a minimum design temperature of 85 C which corresponds to maximum solar temperature , will there any additional requirement for a margin of 10-15 C to be applied on this temperature.
Usually, for process application the design temperature includes a margin of 10-15 C on top of the maximum operating temperature but many designers tend not to apply this margin when it comes to a maximum exposed temperature of solar of 85 C.. any technical justification on this regards?
thanks
Regards,
