Hi all,

Can someone please suggest the ideal way of monitoring Overall Heat Transfer Coefficient of a Kettle Reboiler? I'm thinking of Calculating Q = m Cp dT for either of the fluids and then, check U = Q / (A*LMTD). But then, it is not clear to me how to find LMTD for it, as cross-flow happens in it. Is my approach correct? If not, please suggest me the right approach.

That won't do. Start from the basic equations, and post your proposal again.

Bobby,

I didn't get you. Can you please elaborate what you wanted to convey?

Thank you
