Selecting Steam Trap For Turbine Condensate Removal

Hi, can anyone explain what the purpose of steam traps is on turbine where the exhaust steam is still superheated? would that be for start-up only? and if it is right how I can size the trap needed and select it from manufacturers

If the steam is still super heated, yes then it is for startup and shutdown.

Since the steam is still super heated, I think Thermodynamic should be good, like we use for steam piping/network. The trap should be located at the lowest point.
There might be a philosophy in your company about the drain size based on volume, you can use the same size of TD trap as drain size.
