Hi

Is it possible for someone to share hysys file of whole refinery simulation and basis of a petroleum refinery..
Also, if possible any step by step instruction manual for building of whole refinery in hysys.
This request is purely for learning purposes.

I'm in interest on learning about the refinery complexity index. So trying to get a view about the whole refinery process and the simulation basis. If anyone can help I'm grateful for them

Refinery complexity is concept invented by Wilbur L Nelson.  It is not very useful now and is rarely used.  It is set out in Oil and Gas Journal issues around Sep 1959.  

 

As for your other request, I do not think there are any simulations of entire refineries simply they would be to large to be useful.  Refinery units are simulated all the time.  Two of the largest simulations I have seen are the simulation of a Crude Distillation Unit with light Ends tower including Vacuum Distillation unit.  And the simulation of a complete Off Shore Platform dealing with Oil 
Gas and Water separations, Gas compression and Oil pumping to shore.
