Dear members,

 

I'm working on the associated gas treatment plant for an energy plant. It is important to the Customer to meet the Methane Index requirements for the treated gas. In Aspen Hysys there is no built-in feature to calculate the Methane Number of the stream.

Therefore I want to try to write a user variable to calculate this parameter.

If anyone could help where can I start from, or has written something similar, I would highly appreciate if you could share with some materials.

Do you know how to calculate Methane Number? And, you can use the HYSYS user guide. Or look on the AspenTech support site.
