greetings!!

i am currently working on the design of steam and ammonia spargers to be installed in a rotary drum granulator , the type of granulators used in fertiliser granulation plants in the USA and Europe in the 1960s to 1970s.my problem is on the location of these spargers with respect to the shell of the granulator.the ammonia sparger is for direct neutralisation of the free acid in the superphosphates(ssp and tsp).wat will be the most appropriate arrangement blowing ammonia into the dry solid-feed first or the steam into the feed then ammonia follows.i am also appealing for anyone with an indepth knowledge of such plants to come forward on this forum.

thanking you in advance!!
