Hi,

 

Any recommended reference of rule of thumbs process design and cost estimationn which I can use for quick calculations in a concept design. (mostly interested in biobased processes).

Peters and Timmerhaus wrote a good book on process design and cost estimation (Plant Design and Economics for Chemical Engineers.) It is full of rules of thumb and may be useful to you.
