Dear Team,

Hope everyone are doing great.

I recently encountering a critical problem that even Customer support is taking hard time to sort it out.

I am working on the CO2 capture with Absorber-Stripper simple configuration using MEA fluid in Aspen Plus platform.

For my design requirements of 85% Co2 Capture and 98% product mole purity, I am encountering around 10 GJ/tonCO2 (reboiler heat requirement).

I am trying to reduce, but if I disturb any of the parameter, the system is not converging.

Am I making any big blunder in calculation? Any inputs and suggestion for usual reboiler heat duty of 2-4 GJ/Ton of CO2 would be highly helpful.

Thanks in advance.
