Hi everyone,

I am a Master Degree Engineering student who is simulating a process using Aspen Hysys V10.

I have a doubt about how can i extract a duty heat current from a reaction in order to conect it in other reactor.

The direction of the duty arrow is always the same, so, even if i put it with a negative value, i can not connect it to the next reactor because of the direction!

How can i put a duty arrow which goes out from the reactor instead of going inside it?

The other option is use a HX to extract heat from the sensible heat of the products using a first adiabatic reactor.

I would prefer to use the first solution if it were possible because in the second option i would be using pseudo currents.

The simulation is about a conversion reactor (combustion)  which has to give the necessary heat to a equilibrium reactor (reforming of natural gas).

I have attached a image in order to support my question.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

ADM.

Just add an energy stream.
