Hi,

I'm having the following message in Aspen V9:

"Failed to load AspenTech.CompositeDoc.dll"

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Can you save the file as a backup bkp file instead? I avoid compound files if at all possible. AspenPlus Version 9 is no longer supported by AspenTech. You should upgrade if you can. Version 12 is the latest release, but version 11 is still supported.

Hi Pilesar,

I can save the files as backup and as document file.

I am a chemistry engineering student, and need to send my tasks saved as Compound file, and my college use the V9, so I need to save as compound file in Version 9.

Can you save other simulation files as compound files? Have you rebooted your computer?

Ask a fellow student or the professor to open your backup file, run it, and save as compound file for you. If they can do that, then the problem would seem to be with your installation or your computer.
