Hello,

 

I will receive delivery barrels (45L) of Acetyl Chloride (corrosive 1B, flammability 2), and I have to transfer a specific amount to another container that I will place over a scale. 

 

Can you recommend me a safe way to make this transfer. I thought that one way is to use a hand pump.

Check for right protection (motor vs flammable material EXE) and chemical compatibility product /metallurgy 

 

note : If the transfer is seldom , it could be a hand pump .

Yes this is only for 5 pilot plant experiments at the volume of max 50L.
