I'm a ChemE student who's trying to to simulate Haber process of Ammonia synthesis in ASPEN plus.

The program requires the reaction kinetics as one of specifications for the modelling of reactor.

Is there any website or any book that gives kinetic data of reactors like order of reaction , activation energy , rate constant ?

Ammonia synthesis kinetics are based on measurements taken in the lab or from similarly designed reactors which cannot easily be transferred to dissimilar designs. The multi-bed radial type reactors are especially tough to model rigorously because of the effects of diffusion. When I was designing commercial ammonia plants, we used an approach to equilibrium to determine the reactor products and experiential rules for bed sizing based on the mass and heat balance. There are reference books which might be useful such as 'Ammonia - Principles and Industrial Practice' by Max Appl. You might have better results from an internet search since ammonia plants are a common student design project and you may find the project reports from others explaining how they handled the same issues you face.
