Hello to all dear engineers, I have done a simulation with Hayes software there is :
Extraction of 1-Hexane from waste output ‌from unit
1-Butane Due to the near boiling temperature of feed component I used two distillation towers, but the number of trays became very large approximately 130-180. And
‌ I think condesnsor and reboiler duty is not normal and common ,also reflux retio and boiled up ratio for purifying productis very high about 22 for reflux and 1 for boiled up
( actually i thing they haven't correct scale)

Hi,

To help you we need to be able to open your file . Can you submit it on another format ,let say pdf ? 

Do you use the right thermodynamic package? Do you have publication to support your process ? Are you sure about the operation condition  ?

Did you try with other commercial software ? 

 

Note : You can download a free software from internet named ChemSep to perform your simulations .
