Hi,

I am working in Petroleum Refinery in Operations since last 6 years and I'm planning to learn simulation in Pro-II.

I am unable to find the reflux flowrate when simulating a diesel stripper. I have not set reflux ratio as one of the performance spec in the column.

How can I use the pseudoproducts in feed and product sections in Pro-II to determine the reflux rate?

Assuming your condenser is stage 1, you will want to define a pseudo stream for the net liquid from stage 1. In keywords, this is a TFLOW statement. In the GUI, you will connect an external stream to the column and define it inside the column block. Go to Column - Feeds and Products. Select the Pseudoproducts button to define the stream.

For the reflux rate, I selected net tray flow.

Thanks a lot for the help!
